btw, this motorcycle fits me ;) ;) low seat (I am not tall) not expensive... and after I made I few kilometers/miles, I fell in love with her ... :D ;D

Warum iss einfach ;D

ich hatte 2001 acht motorräder, und ne freundin die willig war motorrad zu fahren ;D

sie wollte einen chopper ;D so dann hab ich die ls gefunden, gekauf ( meine geliebte Yamaha RD 500 verkauft ) wegen platzmangel ;D

mh, nach nem jahr stand die ls immer noch in der halle rum und die mutti hatte immer noch keinen lappen um das ding zu fahren :-[

jo, dann hab ich angefangen umzubauen und tu es immer noch ;D

jo unn nun isse mein moped ;)

die LS ist zuverlässig, hat mich noch nicht im Stich gelassen und ist einfach ein schönes Moped!

Ich hatte auch schon schnelle Mopeds, im Moment noch ne MZ für den Winter und eine HD aber die LS ist immer noch der Favorit. Deshalb hab ich sie jetzt auch schon 18 Jahre und werde sie auch nicht mehr hergeben.

Damit in meinem Motorrad-Zimmer was drin steht an dem ich rumbasteln kann. ;D ;D ;D

Hatte damals (Im Jahr 2000) NUKLEAR-Günstig (ich glaub es waren 700 oder 800 D-MARK) `ne AME S6 zum schlachten bekommen und daraus entstand langsam das goldene Prachtstück.

Iss wie beim Lotzbub. Basteln, Basteln, Basteln. WIrd nie ferddisch.

the reason i posted this: and since nobody can understand my deutsch, i'll post in englisch.

so.

i broke down and asked the boss for help with the alternator rotor. so the day before yesterday, after work we went to his best friend who has an air compressor and is a certified airplane mechanic. lots of tools. rides a honda super magna. the boss rides an 1800 vtx.
and for two hours i got to hear about how my ideas for my motorcycle were stupid and that i should just get a bigger bike.

WTF?

these guys disrespect everything, from the fact that i don't speed, to my reasons for riding, to my choice in bike, to my ideas.

i am not happy.

this is why i hate asking for help.
and will not ask for help again.

there is a savage forum also in the USA, did you try
to find out if there is anybody near to you, whom you
could ask ?

i've been on the american savage forum. unfortunately the ones closest to me are not very bright. that's why i stopped posting there last year.
same stupid questions everyday, and not listening when the woman who knows has the answer.

hello sun-rat,
to my mind it isn`t very surprising, to hear such comments from riders of bigger bikes. I`ve heard similar things.
Before I bought my lovely Savage, I rode faster bikes. But I think that there`s no fun comeparable to that a Savage will bring.
That makes it easy for me to ignore that arogant point of view.

Just enjoy your bike and don`t care ;D

Hi,

the original reason, I bought it was:
a) it was vibrating like hell, when I made a test drive
b) already in original state, it looks fine and makes good sound.

Now, after I customized it a bit (öhem...) it looks even better and makes even more sound.

Sometimes, I think about buying a bigger bike, but then I think of all my friends, my Savage brought me to and decide to keep it. Now, I would never sell my Savage again, but I still think about buying a second bike. Maybe a Savage, who knows?

Hi,

I had several small and big bikes in my life.
Now i`m old (38).
In my opinion:
(1) a bike has to be fast enough,
(2) is has to be good looking,
(3) and it has to be cheap (= tax, insurance, buying the bike, parts and gasoline) and easy to repair.
...that means: a Savage is perfect!

A big twin, for example, isn`t so much faster as the owners often think, because:
if you have twice the power (PS) and twice the weight (lbs? "KG" in german), your Bike isnt`t (much) faster than the "small" one.

But my main reason is:
People who drive big Twins (or BMW, Porsche,...) often have a lot of money, but a small p...s.
I don`t like it if the people think I`m rich. ;D

But anyway: The real reason is that the LS is so knuddelig. But I cannot translate knuddelig into english.

ich gekauft das LS weil es ist nicht sehr gross von mir.

das meiste mann wunsche gross motorrad und nichtachtung mir und miene auswahl.

ich habe nicht schwanz machen gross. :D

I know that you dont have a dick anyway (at least I hope it ;) )
But I think its boys who dont agrre to your bike. Am I right?
And you can think about my rhyme if they flout your bike.

Maybe you can quote it in german and if they ask what it means tell them:"Figure it out on your own !"

But anyway be sure your choice shows you good taste.
